This Privacy Policy explains how Hardik Patni, proprietor of Hardtech (GSTIN 08CVGPP9314P1ZR) ("Hardtech", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit www.hardtech.in (the "Website"), contact us, book a discovery call, or buy our services.

We are based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. Our registered address is 2, Narayan Singh Circle, Lal Niwas, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302004.

This policy is published under, and is intended to comply with:

the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011;
the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the rules made under it, as they come into force;
the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.

Payments. Card, UPI and net-banking details are handled directly by our payment partners (such as Shopify Payments or a licensed payment gateway). We do not see or store your full card number, CVV or UPI PIN.

Sensitive data. We do not ask for passwords, health, biometric or financial account data beyond what payment processing requires. Where you give us account access, we use it only for the agreed work.

4. Consent and lawful basis

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, or for legitimate uses allowed under the DPDP Act, such as fulfilling a service you asked for or meeting a legal obligation. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing support@hardtech.in. Withdrawal does not affect processing already done, and may mean we cannot continue a service that needs that data.

5. Sharing your information

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share it only with:

Service providers who help us run the business (website hosting on Shopify, payment gateways, email and communication tools such as Google Workspace and WhatsApp, analytics and cloud storage), bound to use it only for our purposes;
Freelancers or contractors working on your project, under confidentiality obligations;
Government or law-enforcement authorities when required by law, court order or to protect our legal rights;
A buyer or successor if our business is merged, sold or restructured.

Some providers may store data outside India. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the data is protected, and we follow any transfer restrictions notified by the Government of India.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Website uses cookies and similar tools (including Shopify's own cookies, Google Analytics and advertising pixels such as Meta Pixel) to keep the site working, remember preferences, measure traffic and show relevant ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the site may then not work properly.

7. How long we keep data

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, then delete or anonymise it. Enquiry data is kept for up to 2 years after last contact. Invoices and accounting records are kept for at least 8 years, as required under Indian tax law. Account access you gave us for a project should be revoked by you once the project ends; we stop using it at that point.

8. Security

We use reasonable security practices, including access controls, two-factor authentication on key accounts, encrypted (HTTPS) connections and limited staff access, in line with the SPDI Rules. No online system is fully secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify affected users and the authorities as required by law.

9. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you can:

ask what personal data we hold about you and how it is used;
ask us to correct, complete, update or erase your data;
withdraw consent you have given;
nominate another person to exercise your rights in case of death or incapacity;
raise a grievance with us, and if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.

To use any right, email support@hardtech.in. We may need to verify your identity. We aim to respond within 30 days.

10. Children

Our services are meant for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Website links to client sites, social media and third-party tools. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.
